English Translation (ίνγκλιsh τρανζλέισιον)
Unfortunately, I read today on tvxs.gr, that the deans of Greek universities propose “free” access to Universities...
This will be GREECE'S INTELLIGENCE DISASTER, BECAUSE
1.“The certificate grade” now considered as a criterion will be probably adjusted by the factors below:
a. Jobbery by High school professors
b. Corruption – Graft of high school professors will overcome the well-known doctors' needed bribery
c. Private High schools will provide higher grades than those of Public ones...
d. “High profile” children will get higher certificate grades
2.Super-intelligent children who can solve extremely difficult problems, usually have limited memory and superior opinion, are absentminded and many times misspelling (due to their memory limit), slipshod when writing, etc, contrary to nerds/parrots who memorize “everything” but understand very few.
The new system will comprise “parrots”, students with the highest grade, and super-intelligent children, students of the lowest one, BECAUSE there won't be, as the old times (1955-1975), the super-difficult problems of entrance examination to Universities for parrots/nerds to fail and thus, super-intelligent children succeed of necessity, even with misspelling, scribbles, bungles at their examination paper, BECAUSE only they solved the super-difficult problems and then at the University, they are the ones who excel...
So, like “the old times”, it is proposed that the examinations of Mathematics, Physics and Technical Schools be of high difficulty: 50% Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry) and the rest 50% (Physics, Chemistry, Composition)
3.The crammers fulfil a very great function, because they cover the gaps created when learning and understanding the curriculum and train students to solve VERY DIFFICULT PROBLEMS and thus GREATLY RAISE THE STANDARD OF INTELLIGENCE AND KNOWLEDGE of the student at SOLVING PROBLEMS of his studies AND IN GENERAL OF THEIR OWN LIVES in all fields (Studens gain the last one regardless of entering a University or not, they become more clever...)
4.So, the “free” system of university entrance, with jobbery, bribery, acquaintances, AND OTHERS, will provide access for very bad students to “good” schools and then, they will be registered to the political part and as soon as they graduate, will be Managers and will go for... Ministers!!! (We have examples of “eternal” students that became... Ministers), while the true top students WON'T get good jobs, because they won't have the jobbery and the political party.
5.AND MANY OTHERS AGAINST FREE UNIVERSITY ACCES
“a Greek proverb...”
